Ethiopian national educational assessment and examinations agency announced its plan to prepare question bank for national examinations.
As the agency’s deputy director general Zerihun Duressa said that the question bank will help the agency to have a readymade question bank reserve for all the subject matters in order to be able to administer exams and tests at any time. It will also save expense and man power in cases of exam preparations every year. Moreover, the question bank will enable the agency to be prepared to give examinations at any time.
The question bank will have about 5 000 questions in every subject matter. The trend of preparing a question bank is common in the examination and assessment agencies of developed countries.
