A Turkish Company called KUMTEC is to establish and to produce electronic home furniture factory in Ethiopia with an out lay of one billion Birr.
President Dr. Mulatu Teshome received and held talks with president of the company on how to tackle deforestation and saving foreign currency.
In this regard, Ethiopian government has expressed commitment to fully support the company in beginning the construction.
President of KUMTEC Company Yonetim Kurulu has lauded efforts of the Ethiopian government in providing land in Sebeta town with the necessary investment incentives.
The Factory which is expected to commence production in a year will have the potential to produce goods worth 1.6 million USD for local and international market.
