Suspects who stole more than 2 million Birr put into custody

It was a month ago on May 22, 2014 that two illegal black market money changers of the Ethiopia hotel area in Addis stolen 2.2 million birr by criminal gangs who appeared as if they had 100, 000 USD to be changed to Ethiopian birr.

As Reporter newspaper writes six suspects are put into custody by the police recently. Among the six suspects, two of whom, inspector Zeleke Ayele and Sergeant Major Kelebe Baze are known to be federal police members.

The other four suspects, Meseret Wodajie, Tezazu Meles, Birhanu Damtew and Wonde Manie are known to be from different professions. The police investigation on the suspects continues.
