President Office Head banished from Office

e185e972Head of the Ethiopian Federal Democratic Republic’s president office, W/o Amarech Bekalu is banished from office in connection with the ill handling of the house rent case of the former president Girma Woldegiorgis when he was leaving office months ago. Sources said that the Head is removed from the office with a letter written by the Prime Minister.

W/o Amarech said that the removal from office has nothing to do with the house rent case or the alleged ill handling of the office’s task instead the usual change of responsibility to another task. But sources claimed that Mss Amarech has been blamed for ill handling of the office’s tasks at the assessment session of the office a month ago.

And in her position, Ato Biruk Gizaw of the Addis Ababa mayor office head is appointed. It is reported that the commission agent who got a house to be rented for the president has filed a charge on the president office, the former president and his daughter claiming that he hasn’t been paid based on the agreement.

Another house owner who had agreed to rent a house previously, too, had sent a letter to the president office demanding a payment of 2.1 million birr.
