Ethiopian Embassy at Kenya Ethiopian embassy in Kenya announced that following the recent arrest of many Ethiopians living in Kenya, seventy Ethiopians are made to return back to Ethiopia.
Ato Meles Alem Tekea of the Ethiopian Embassy in Kenya told VOA Amharic program that the Kenyan government’s recent action is triggered due to the security problem.
He also said that though Ethiopia and Kenya have agreed since 40 years ago for their respective citizens to travel in both countries without visa, most Ethiopians are arrested while travelling without a passport.
