The 10th General Assembly of the Oromia region that was going on for two days has made Ato Muktar Kedir the president of the Oromia region.
Ato Muktar Kedir is chairman of the Oromo People Democratic Front (OPDO) and he has also served as good governance and reform cluster coordinator with the rank of deputy prime minister. The assembly has also elected Ato Lemma Megersa as Speaker of the house.
Ato Lemma has been serving as head of the Oromia region’s trade and market development office.
