Land and Land Related Properties Registration Data to be Stored at the Prime Minister Office

Land and Land related properties registration, the 10/90, 20/80 and 40/60 home project data and home builders unions’ registrations are all planned to be stored at the Prime Minister office.

Though each registration has an authority to take care of, to alleviate problems of data mismanagement, loss and intentional erasing of data, the need to store the backup of all these registrations at the Prime minister office has become of vital importance.

Though Addis Ababa city’s agency that takes care of such data has all the facilities and about 67 professionals to handle the data, the need to keep the backup at the Prime Minister’s office was hugely important to give the data one more safety status. Since one of the severe criticisms heard on the city administration was data loss, the need to keep the backup has become necessary.

The registration data will also be guarded by the Information Network Security Agency (INSA) to keep it from any intentional or accidental damage.

The registration files will also have a hard copy document besides the backup and it is hoped that any kind of data loss will not happen again.
