Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta in his visit to the Ethiopian Airlines said that what the Ethiopian Airlines has achieved is the pride of the continent. He also commented that the collaborative work between Ethiopian Airlines and the Kenyan Airways can contribute a lot for the growth of the continent. Ethiopian Airlines CEO, Tewolde Gebremariam in his part said that Ethiopian has a long reaching vision and is now a very successful airline in the industry. In its 79 worldwide and 18 in-country destinations Ethiopian Airlines serves about six million passengers every year. The numbers of its airplanes have also reached 63. Uhuru Kenyatta has also said that for the successful work of the African airlines a collaborative work by the African head of states is of vital importance. After his visit to the Ethiopian airlines, the Kenyan president concludes his official visit of Ethiopia and returned back to his country.
