Lemma Lejeyeshal is the member of the Israeli business delegation to Ethiopia. The business delegation has also visited Rwanda, Ivory coast, Kenya and Ghana in addition to its Ethiopian visit.
Speaking to Addis Admass newspaper, Lemma Lejeyeshal said that though the attitude of the Ethiopian government to investment and the country’s policy are all good, but the bureaucracy is crippling and rough.
Lemma has travelled to Israel 24 years ago in 1982 E.C and starting from nine years ago he has been engaged in investment and export in Ethiopia. As Lemma told the newspaper, the country’s policies by themselves don’t mean anything; he added “unless the good intention in the higher position and in the policy is well expressed at the bottom, investment will not flourish in the country.”
Lemma has also raised the issue of the Ethiopian export items that ‘though Ethiopian products are famous for their good quality, the amount is too small which the government has to focus to increase the product quantity.”
