Gambella city is celebrating its centenary. Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn who is the guest of honor of the celebration said that though the city is advancing in various aspects to affirm sustainable growth more is still expected to be accomplished.
Gambella region’s president Gatluak Tut Kot gave a detail description of the city’s comfortable environment and resources for investment. Cultural shows of the region’s five indigenous people are presented to the celebration’s participants. The Gambella city’s centenary celebration will continue till May 1, 2014.
