Ministry of industry announced that the foreign exchange earnings the country has got from the manufacturing sector is increasing.
In this fiscal year, too, the country has got 400 million dollars from the sector.

The contribution of the manufacturing sector for the country’s GDP growth in the 2005 E.C was only 18%. But in 2006 E.C, this figure is expected to rise from 21% to 23%.
As compared to the start of the Growth and Transformation Period in 2002 E.C, now the foreign exchange earnings from the sector increased four times. Logistics, customs and finance problems are some of the challenges the country’s manufacturing sector is facing.
