The fire that broke out yesterday at noon at the Addis Ketema Subcity’s woreda 8 in a neighborhood called ‘Joneya Tera’ destroyed 360 000 Br worth of goods.
The blaze consumed four shops in the neighborhood. The quick notification of the accident and the immediate response of the Addis Ababa Fire and Emergency Prevention and Rescue Agency workers to the accident helped save an eight million birr worth of goods from the blaze.
