The federal supreme sharia court’s deputy president Sheikh Aman Shifaw is arrested and charged suspected of corruption. As the charge document presented by the Federal Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission to the Federal High Court’s First Criminal Bench indicates the suspect is caught red handed receiving ten thousand birr bribe after demanding fifty thousand.
W/o Roza Mohammed Juhar who has asked the federal first instant sharia court to get a document that testify her marriage been in Sharia couldn’t get the document. So she has asked again to the federal supreme sharia court.
The charged document said that the suspect had demanded for a fifty thousand birr bribe from W/o Roza Mohammed to issue the document. And on Tuesday July 8, 2014 at the Kolfe Keraneyo sub city’s woreda 15, at a special location called Asko nedaj madeya the suspect is caught red handed receiving 10, 000 br from W/o Roza Mohammed.
The court has ordered for the suspect to stay in prison till he face his trial on the coming Tuesday July 22, 2014.
