ADDIS ABABA (Reuters) – Ethiopia’s inflation rate eased to 7.9 pct in the year to November from 8.5 percent in October, after a fall in the price of some food items, official data showed on Thursday.
The International Monetary Fund has forecast inflation in the Horn of Africa country would remain in single digits over the next two fiscal years while the economy of Africa’s second most populous nation grows 7.5 percent annually in that period.
