Ethiopian heavy weight boxer Sami Reta is to fight with an Egyptian boxer Ahmed Seid on May in Addis.
It is announced that the reason for the fight is to support the construction of the Renaissance dam and to promote former Prime Minister Meles Zenawi’s legacy.
Sami Reta said that the boxing match will also help to bridge the rift created between the two countries due to the Renaissance dam project.
The heavy weight boxer has also said that the profit from the selling of the book en titled ‘Meles Le Abay’ which is written by Ato Hailemaiam Sisay is given for the dam’s construction.
