Ethiopian Bans the Freight of Used Clothes and Items Entering into the Country

The new rule by the Ethiopian Airlines and the Ethiopian customs and revenue authority prohibits the carrying by its airplanes of used clothes and items into the country.

As the letter from the Ethiopian Airlines authorities indicate, the reason for the ban is the health problem that the used clothes and items causing on the customs check point workers.

Therefore, starting from March 1, 2014 bringing used clothes and items into the country through the Ethiopian Airlines is prohibited.
