Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn said that Ethiopia has built a modern army that can execute various missions at a time. The premier said this yesterday when he gave diplomas to the graduating army members.
Among the 58 graduates ten of them are from South Sudan and Burundi.
On the event, the premier appreciated the Ethiopian armed forces for their effort in keeping the country’s peace and security which enabled the country to focus on development endeavors. He also mentioned the peacekeeping tasks the country’s army engaged in some of the continent’s disputes which is considered an indicator to its acceptance beyond the country’s border.
