Addis Ababa University’s lecturer Dr. Dagnachew Assefa told Addis Admass weekly that he is to sue AAU since his dispute with the institution on the issue of academic leave couldn’t be settled.
Every instructor who taught for six years has a right to have a year of academic leave, a sabbatical leave; but Dr. Dagnachew told the weekly that his leave is cancelled after it being granted.
He also said that his appeal till the President office hasn’t been answered.
After all this, Dr. Dagnachew has resolved to take the matter to the court.
Dr. Dagnachew is a well known AAU academician among the public who spoke openly on various matters politics included.
