Celebrities participated in the “Dejachen Yeseda” Sanitation campaign

A sanitation campaign under the title “Dejachen Yetseda” is held today morning in Addis. The organizers have said that the main objective for the campaign being to create awareness and motivate the public on the values of environmental sanitation and cleanliness.

Various celebrities including the Raga musician Johnny Raga have participated in the campaign which took place in the Edna Mall, Atlas and Wollo sefer neighborhoods.

The campaign’s organizer Girum Kassahun has stressed the underlining motto of the campaign that ‘if everyone cleans his surrounding, the city would become clean’ The organizers have also arranged a concert to be held in the middle of September for the cause where the entrance fee would be a broom, an axe and a spade.
