Burayu’s Airplane Restaurant to Begin Service

46a0d005A new restaurant that gives service inside an airplane is to begin giving service at Burayu town, 12kms out of Addis.

An airplane-tuned-restaurant is located at a special place called ‘tatek kela’ in Burayu town. The Boeing 737 that was tuned to restaurant is said to have been owned by the certain Nigerian tycoon who brought the airplane to Ethiopian Airlines for maintenance years ago.

Since the owner hasn’t taken his property in the time frame, the airplane has finally been taken by the Ethiopian airlines. As the airplane-restaurant’s owner Gutema Guta told DireTube news, he bought the airplane’s fuselage without its engine from Ethiopian airlines on a bid. The 34 meters long and 14 meters wide Boeing 737-turned-restuaurant can accommodate more than 100 guests and it will being service after 20 days.
