W/o Aster Mamo is appointed deputy prime minister for good governance and reform cluster and minister of the civil service. Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn has approved the appointment before the house of peoples representatives today. After the house approved the appointment with full vote, Aster has took the oath of office before the house.
W/o Aster Mamo’s appointment has made her to become the highest female government official in the recent political history of the country. W/o Aster Mamo has earned her first degree in Language and literature and her masters in Organizational leadership.
W/o Aster Mamo is currently deputy chairman of OPDO.
