Arbaminch University celebrates its silver jubilee. The university’s president Dr. Feleke Woldeyes said that the silver jubilee is celebrated with various events. The president has also pointed out the university’s contribution in training professionals for the water and hydroelectric projects of the nation.
When the university was founded 25 years ago it has been training water technology professionals at a certificate level. Currently the university has 21, 000 students under 42 Programs.
