Her name is Demeku Eshetu. She has gone to Saudi Arabia from Dessie (Arada) of Ethiopia only a year ago. Two months ago her employers in the Weji city of Saudi Arabia have inflicted severe physical tortures ‘for her being not fast enough in her duties’.
They have burnt her body with hot water and kicked her head with a knife. Demeku is now getting treatment at a hospital in Saudi Arabia and her employers who inflicted the torture have put in prison though they haven’t been charged yet.
