level driving license Bajaj drivers in some neighborhoods of Addis are complaining about the ban imposed on them not to drive with their 3rd level driving license. These drivers who are working at the Jemmo, furi and lafto areas are told by the authorities to have a 1st level driving license to drive the three wheeled Bajaj.
The drivers claimed that they are capable of driving Bajaj with their 3rd and higher level driving licenses and that they have been driving for years this way.
The drivers said that the training for a first level driving license is given outside Addis and they are facing difficulty to go to those areas and take the training.
The drivers who claimed to be out of work for more than two weeks have expressed their complaint to Addis Guday magazine. The magazines effort to talk to the authorities hasn’t been successful.
