Addis Ababa Roads Authority is preparing to inaugurate eight road projects.
The road project that over 1 billion Birr has been spent on for their construction, is 50 km long, while 30 km is asphalt road and the rest 20 is cobblestone.
The road are from Hailoch- Keraniyo, Jimma Way – Repi Elementary school, Amst Kutir Roundabout – Gebrekiristos Way, Hayat Roundabout – Yerer Goro, Bole Summit –Condominium , Diaspora Square – Semen Terminal –Kara.
The roads are built 30m wide and are able to move six vehicles at a time.
Moreover, Addis Ababa Roads Authority Chief Manager Engineer Fikadu Haile told Fana Broadcasting Corporate that expansion activity was done for the road from Diaspora Square – North Terminal – Kara.
