Addis Ababa’s Ethio-telecom expansion has been completed. Ethio-telecom announced yesterday. As the Telecom indicated the new fourth generation 4G network can provide service for 4 hundred thousand Addis Ababa customers. It can be used with some Smartphones.
Corporate Communication Officer of the company Ato Abdurahim Ahmed told as the service can be given with smartphones and with a device named Dengul. But, not all smart phones can have 4G.
According to Ato Abdurahim the smartphones that can have 4G service are iphone 5 and above and Nokia Limiya as well as Galaxy 5 and above.
Ato Abdurahim added, some smart phones are available posted on as they can deliver the service. Nevertheless, the phone may not have the service so, customers should take care while buying phones.
