Sources talks are going on at the prime minister office to establish a museum and park complex at the heart of Addis by combining National palace with Ghion Hotel and the Addis Ababa filwoha and hot springs.
Though the idea has been raised continuously by various city planning professionals, it is only recently that the idea got attention by the government. Nationals Museum is the office and residence of the president. Ghion hotel which lies on 1,236,000 square meters of land is adjacent to the National Palace which is known for its various historic collections.
