As a result, LG Electronics (LG) found itself in the spotlight once again at the annual iF Design Awards (World’s highest recognized award institution) with 26 products earning honors for 2014, including the LG G Flex (Unique curved shaped mobile) which was selected as one of the 75 Gold Award winners, G2 smart phone also receiving recognitions.

LG G Flex embodies a unique design that demonstrates LG’s cutting-edge capabilities in design and engineering – the final innovative high pick technology.

The G Flex’s ergonomic, vertically curved 6-inch display provides a more comfortable user experience by following the contours of the user’s face and placing the speaker and microphone closer to the ear and mouth.

The LG Mobile Communications company’s third quarter revenues increased by 24 % compared with the same quarter a year ago to KRW 3.05 trillion (USF 2.75 billion).

The company shipped 12 million smart phones in the third quarter of 2013. LG Plans to focus on increasing sales of new premium products such as the LG G2 smart phone during peak holiday season as well as maximizing 3G and mid-tier mass devices such as the L II Series.
