Youth from Kainuk area in Turkana County blocked the Kitale- Lodwar road for 13 hours to protest over recruitment by an oil prospecting company.The youth, who claimed that they were being sidelined by Tullow Oil company when it comes to employment, began demonstrating on Wednesday at 3pm and blocked the road using logs near Kainuk Bridge disrupting transport.Vehicles from either side had to cut short their journey and park at the Kainuk center. ~mobile.nation.co.ke ·
