Horrific Traffic Accident in Addis Kills Eight Wounding forty Six

A horrific traffic accident today morning at 6:40 A.M at the Zenebe work bridge in Addis kills eight heavily wounding forty six.

The accident occurred when a an Anbessa city bus heading from a karakore neighborhood to Merkato carrying 113 passengers crashed into a 15 meter deep Zenebework bridge.

The number of those who died might increase. Most of the victims of the accident are traditional weavers who live at the Woleta area of addis heading to the Sheromeda market.

Those passengers who are heavily wounded by the accident are taking medical treatment at the Black Lion and St. Paul Hospitals. The driver of the bus has survived the accident with a severe wound and the reason of the accident is on investigation.
