Heavy rainfall and flooding in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

RIYADH — Heavy rains lashed Riyadh city Saturday evening. It started with dark clouds and lighting all over the city.

Motorists rushed home as it started pouring to avoid being stranded on the streets. Roads began flowing with rain water as drainages were clogged up.

Civil defense personnel helped people out of the cars who were stuck on the road.
