Students from Ethiopian International School kept the audience enthralled with their impressive performance of ethnic African dance at the global food festival at Riyadh golf course.
The students got a big round of applause from natives and locals present on the occasion.
The Saudi capital is hosting a large number of cultural events and International food festival to make the mid-year vacation attractive.
The ten-day food festival has been organized in association with the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA). The global food fest has on fare a wide variety of dishes from different continents.
Speaking to Arab News, Abdul Basit Jemal, principal of Ethiopian International School, said: “The festival provides a unique opportunity for our students to experience the culture, civilization and traditional food habits of different nations.”
Commenting on the program, Ms Sheeba, social club coordinator of Ethiopian International School, said: “The event was a success with the participation of the students and the grandeur with which it was presented.”
