Ethiopian foreign minister Dr. Tewodros Adhanom announced that Ethiopia is to send its public diplomacy delegates to Egypt. It is also indicated that the Egyptian president Adel Fatah el-Sisi would visit Ethiopia and discuss with the Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn two weeks later. Dr. Tewodros said that the public diplomacy delegate’s visit to Egypt is to advance people to people relationship between the two countries to another level.
Members of the delegation are selected from the general public, the parliament, from the religious institutions, among famous personalities, from the private sector, from the government and private media, from the art and others. The delegation is expected to discuss on various bilateral matters with its Egyptian counterpart.
