Egyptian president Abdel Fattah el-Sisi who recently took office has accepted Ethiopian foreign minister Dr. Tewodros Adhanom’s invitation to visit Ethiopia.
Tewodros Adhanom has also discussed the issue of resuming talks on the Renaissance dam’s project with the El-sisi and the Egyptian foreign minister Nabil Fahmy.
Ethiopian foreign minister has also expressed his intent to arrange for the two countries presidents meet and discuss on the issue of the GERD project at the coming African union summit to be held in Equatorial Guinea. An Ethiopian delegation led by Dr. Tewodros Adhanom had travelled to Egypt to attend the inauguration ceremony of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
