Construction of trains for the Addis Ababa Light Railway project is nearing completion, the Metal and Engineering Corporation (METEC) has said.
The Corporation told reporters on Saturday that 85 percent of work on the trains has already been done.
The work is being carried out by the locomotive sub institute with the Corporation.
Upon completion, the Addis Ababa Light Railway will go operational using some 41 trains under construction by the institute.
