Chinese Premier Li Keqiang to Visit Ethiopia

bfe99c9b Chinese Premier Li Keqiang is to have a three days official visit to Ethiopia starting from May 4, 2014.

On his stay, the Premier will visit projects that are being undertaken by the Chinese government in Ethiopia. Ethiopian foreign ministry’s spokesman Dina Mufti said that the visit will strengthen a strong tie that has been existing between the two countries.

Ethiopia and China has been collaborating in the strategic alliance mode starting from 1970s. China is leading in investments in infrastructure, technology transfer and on the construction sectors in the country; where India and Turkey took second and third positions respectively.

It is remembered that a Chinese government delegation lead by the Chinese deputy prime minister had visited Ethiopia last year on November, 2013.
