A postgraduate program in footwear engineering which is helpful for the footwear manufacturing industries of the country is to be started next year in the country.
It is the Addis Ababa University’s technology faculty which will give the postgraduate program in collaboration with the Ethiopian leather industry development institute.
The Addis Ababa University’s technology faculty has finalized its preparation to start the program on September, 2014. Besides the preparation of the curriculum for the postgraduate program, the faculty has constructed and given two machineries for footwear manufacturing to small and medium enterprises.
