A man who reportedly called 9-1-1 from inside of Walmart on Old Fort Parkway asking for a ride to Ethiopia has been arrested. The incident was reported early Wednesday morning. Sean Williamson was said to be causing a disturbance at the customer service desk when police responded.
Officers stated the subject appeared to be under the influence of something and wrote in their report, “Mr. Williamson admitted to smoking marijuana.” Police had to carry the 28-year old out of the store. Once outside, officers were unable to give the man a ride to Ethiopia, but were able to transport him to the local jail where he was booked on charges of Public Intoxication, Resisting Arrest and the Misuse of 9-1-1. He will appear in court in November.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn.
A man was arrested on multiple charges after he allegedly called 911 for a ride to Ethiopia on Wednesday.
Police were called to the Walmart at 2000 Old Fort Parkway in Murfreesboro around 2 a.m. in reference to a disturbance.
Upon arrival, they found Sean Williamson, 28, causing unreasonable annoyances at the customer service counter.
Officers then learned that Williamson had allegedly called 911 dispatchers and asked for a ride to Ethiopia.
After talking to Williamson, police stated he admitted to using marijuana. However, officers noticed he was under the influence of another intoxicant as well.
He was placed into custody, but refused to leave the store on his own will, the affidavit read.
Officers reported Williamson had to be carried out.
He was charged with public intoxication, misuse of 911 for reporting a non-emergency and resisting arrest.
Williamson is being held on $2,250 bond
