KUWAIT: An Ethiopian housemaid was arrested on arrival at Kuwait international airport for attempting to smuggle 10 kg of qat she hid in her luggage, said security sources.
Case papers indicate that custom officers noticed that the maid looked confused and on subjecting her to thorough inspection, the drug was found hidden in bags inside her luggage. A case was filed and the suspect was referred to relevant authorities.
