Director General Zeray Asgedom has left Ethiopian Radio and Television AgencyDirector General Zeray Asgedom has left Ethiopian Radio and Television Agency(ERTA), insiders revealed. Some sources indicate the new chief of ERTA will be Berhane Kidanemariam.
It is believed that Zeray Asegedom’s new post will be Ethiopian Broadcast Authority. Berhane Kidanemariam has been deputy CEO of EFFORT(Tigrai endowment) since 2012 and has recently been by replaced by a guy named Haftsh, from Mesfin Engineering, according to sources close to EFFORT.
Rumor has it that Berhane has been out of the country for a while and it is not clear if he is in Ethiopia at this moment.

The former head of Ethiopian Broadcast Authority, Desta Tesfa, has been appointed as Public and foreign relations adviser of the Prime Minister with the rank of a state Minister.
Berhane Kidanemariam has been CEO of Walta information agency before his appointment as deputy CEO of EFFORT.
