Shimeles Bekele to leave Sudanese side Al Merriekh FC
Sudanese side Al Merriekh FC and Ethiopian Midfielder Shimeles Bekele have officially parted ways
News reaching Soccer Ethiopia is that both Shimelis and Merreikh mutually agreed to nullify the contract after the club was not able to pay the signing fee to the midfielder.
Shimeles is now a free agent, meaning he can join the club of his choosing with out transfer fees being paid.
It is not clear whether Shimeles will return to St George or join another team elsewhere.
